The Kennett Jaycees BBQ Cookoff is a Kansas City Barbecue Society sanctioned event, and it will feature competitions in chicken, ribs, pork, and brisket categories. The top 5 placements in each category will be awarded cash prizes, so you can expect fierce competition among some of the best pitmasters in the country.

The event will also feature a carnival, demolition derby, and live entertainment on both Friday and Saturday nights, making it the perfect way to spend a weekend with family and friends.
